I’ve been using the Equilibrium HeatSense Massage Pad for 6 months now - here are my thoughts
As anyone who has owned a young horse knows, they grow and change shape a lot. As anyone who has owned an Irish Draught like Harley, you’ll know that they can keep growing until they are 8. With all that change growing through their body, I have been having the saddler out every 2 months and the physio out every 3 months and it’s been incredible to see just how much he changes shape over time.
One fantastic new addition to our toolbox of comfortable growth is the Equilibrium HeatSense Massage Pad. The recent upgrade from the original with the addition of heat made my physio ‘ooh’ with delight and come winter, I’ll definitely be sneaking under it with Harley!
See how I first introduced it to Harley below:
There are three speeds available on the massage pad and the heat which you can leave on or off. One of my favourite things about is that, once it’s on the horse, you are left hands-free. It often means I can get on with tack cleaning or tidying up just outside of Harley’s box whilst he gets his massage, something you can’t do with the massage mit. It also turns off by itself. The battery is long-lasting (just make sure you unplug it after each use!). It’s been one of my favourite parts of our pre and post riding routine and Harley absolutely loves it, falling asleep whenever it’s on.
