I started Equestrian Money Diaries years ago after finding it hard to find clear, up-to-date information on the real costs of horse ownership.
Since then, thousands of riders globally have shared their costs with the project.

How it works
Equestrian Money Diaries is simple. Fill out the Google form with your associated costs, whether you are having riding lessons, part-loaning or own a horse (or multiple horses). The form is completely anonymous and you can share as much or as little as you want.
I regularly share individual diaries on my TikTok, with playlists organised by livery type. On YouTube, I share in-depth average costs, such as this 2024 video on the costs of owning in the UK.
